Mac Warm Palette

Mac have always been up there with one of my favorite brands. Although I don’t own many of their products my collection is slowly building. There eyeshadows are by far one of my favorite brands. I find them so pigmented, they last all day and I tend to get little fall out from them. I love my neutral coloured shadows for an every day look, but I do like to make sure I can pair it with my outfit, which means adding colour. Although not the brights that you see some girls wearing, I wish I could be that girl but right now I just dont have the guts to walk out the house with a bright, bold eye.  Thats where this gorgeous palette from mac steps in. Having blue eyes I find it very hard to wear cool toned eyeshadows, unless of course they are applied correctly as they seem to wash out my eyes a little. Warm toned eye shadows make my eyes pop, this could also have something to with having a very cool toned skin. Mac offer both a Cool toned eye shadow palette and a Warm toned neutral eye shadow palette. Which hold your every day basics in with a little pop of colour if thats what your after.

The price is something that put me off buying this palette but since I got it as a Christmas gift I was very gratefull. At a hefty £65, Im sure not everyone is a lover. But there was something about it that I just loved. It is an amazing palette for anyone starting out in make-up and want to experiment with a few different colours, however ONLY get this one if you have the money. There are lots of other palettes like this one out there that are a lot cheaper.

The palette holds 15 eyeshadows, the top row holding pink toned shadows, the next are more golden and the bottom row are the green toned. I love the range of colour and how each row varies from light to dark colours, making it easy to build a gorgeous eye. My favorites have got to be, Amber Lights and Saddle. But I am yet to play around with this palette a little more, I will report back.
