Indian takeout’s are by far one of my favourite. I was looking online to see if there was any healthy choices when it comes to an Indian takeout. Turns out, your right, theres not. Each one has 4837958739 of calories in. Which is what makes them tasty in my pinion. Then I came across this great Slimming World recipe. Although Im not attached to any diet I thought id have a look at the recipe and give it a go.

I found a Chicken Tikka which is my favourite and cooked it up, I followed the instructions step by step and came out with this gorgeous curry that I would definitely make again. Bare in mind, I was making this curry for two people and when I saw that it was for four after I had made it I realised why there was so much sauce next time I will make sure only to make half of the mixture unless of course Im making it for me people.

What you will need:
Juice of 1 Lime
150g Fat Free Natural Yogurt
5 tbsp Tikka Curry Powder
Salt & Pepper
4 Chicken Breasts
Low Cal Cooking Spray
1 Onion Grated
4 Garlic Cloves Crushed
2cm Piece of Ginger, Peeled and Grated
1 Red Chilli, Deseeded and Chopped
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp Ground Cummin6 tbsp Tomato Puree
5 tbsp Fat Free Natural Fromage Frais
Small Handful of Roughly Chopped Coriander, to Garnish

How to:
Mix together Lime Juice, Yogurt and 3 tbsps of the Tikka Curry Powder, season. Add the Chicken to the marinade and toss to coat well, sit in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight.

When ready to cook, preheat the grill to medium. Spray frying pan with Low Cal Oil and place over medium heat. Add Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Chilli, Cinnamon, Cumin and the rest of the Tikka Powder, fry for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the Tomato Puree and 250ml of water. Bring ot the boil and reduce over low heat. Allow to simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring often.

Whilst this is simmering, thread the chicken onto metal skewers, spray with low cal oil and grill for 12-15 minutes. Alternatively fry in something such as George Forman Grill. Remove the chicken and stir into the sauce. Take the sauce of the heat and stir in the Fromage Frais. Serve up with your favourite rice and sprinkle over the Coriander for garnish.

Sit back an enjoy this gorgeous curry without worrying too much about you summer bod! Leave some healthy recipe ideas below!
