What I Got For Christmas

This year was one of the best Christmas’ yet. Aside from all the amazing presents I was given, I had an amazing day spent with family. From the minute I woke up drinking buck’s fizz whilst eating an amazing full fry up, to the mountain of Christmas dinner which was laid in front of me, to the cheese and crackers that I just couldnt resist. It was perfect. Away from the fact that I could barley move due to the amount of food that had been consumed we snuggle up at the end of the day and watched a movie together. I was really spoilt this year and I dont want this post to come over at all braggy, these are one of my most favorite post to read and thought it would be a nice idea to share with you all my gifts. Enough of that, now lets get onto the good part.

For a while now I have been lusting over a new camera, and really wanted a cannon. Im not a one who wants to have the latest gadgets, so I was happy enough getting the Cannon 1100 d. I’ve never had a dslr before, another reason why I didnt want to splash a load of cash on something that I really needed to get use to first. I wanted something I could change the lens on, record videos(yep, youtube will be coming soon) and take a darn good photo. I never imagined that I would get a camera for Christmas but had been showing my mam and dad them for a while, with intention that I would buy one in the new year. But as I was opening my presents Christmas morning sure enough, there it was my own Cannon 1100 d! I was ecstatic to say the least!

This year my main present from Alex was this gorgeous Ted Baker watch, I’d been looking for a nice watch for a while now, something that I could wear to special occasions and feel good in. When I opened this Christmas morning I was so happy. It was exactly what I had been looking for and the best part was that I didnt actually choose it, which made it all the more special too me! Expect a lot more posts featuring this. Another Ted Baker item he bought was this gorgeous pencil case, I havent yet decided if I am going to use it as a pencil case or use it for my make-up brushes when I travel and stay at other peoples houses.

For all you beauty loves out there, this is the section for you. The Urban Decay Vice 3 palette has quickly turned into one of my favorite christmas presents, the colours are insane, the variety is amazing and they last to long on the lids. Another favourite is the Nars palette, which is an amazing must have. I was also kindly given the Mac Pigments in I’d looked at these a few times as I looked through the Mac stall and really wanted to give them a go. A newbie to the whole pigment thing I was quit overwhelmed when I went to use them on Christmas Day but I soon got why people love them so much, a lot more coming from the pigments! My boyfriend went on a whim with his presents, he was  very brave lets just say. He popped himself online and bought me the warm palette from mac, I was so surprised when I opened this. Having never looked at this product in person I was so happy when I looked at all the amazing colour. This is a palette for all year round! He also bought me a mascara, nail varnish, mascara remover from mac and also the Hoola bronzer from Benefit which I have been lusting over for ages! His sister really pushed the boat out this year and bought me a Bobbi Brown blusher in , a Mac lipstick in Twig and a Urban Decay Eyeshadow primer.

An avid Hot Chocolate drinker I always love finding different flavors and makes, this year my mam and dad put together a bag full of different hot chocolate bits. I got a new mug, chocolate sachets, hot chocolate on a stick and a whole lot more. I love how personal this present was for me, I’m not much of a drinker so love nothing more than being able to cook up a nice hot chocolate on a christmas night when the rest of the family is drinking. A 19 year old in a 90 year olds body, I know.

I always love to get new books for Christmas, this year I got Girl Online by Zoe Sugg, Ive started this and love it. It has so many home truths in which is what I love so much about the book, its as if I am reading into someones life not a book. I also got the Bobbi Brown Everything Eyes book, which I am yet to read but I will report back! The last book I got was the Paris Street Fashion book by, which so far I am really loving!

My mam got me there gorgeous necklaces, one with a acorn on and the other with the heart on which is from a gorgeous little vintage shop in durham. She also got me the cute bracelet from this shop too. My brother bought me the bracelet with the wishbone on it. I love all things like this and I think its nicer to get them as gifts as it sorta puts a meaning behind it.

I also received lots of nice bits and bobs of things I needed, like cotton wool, nail varnish (okay I didnt need it but its nice getting it, right?)
