Review: Maybelline Brow Satin

When it comes to my brows im the kinda gal who will throw something on to make them look half decent then im up and out. Im the type who would prefer to take a little more time over my blusher and bronzer. I still haven’t quite mastered the whole brow thing and normally one tends too look a little more bushier, arched and a little more perfect than the other. But where not all perfect are we? Well that’s what I like to tell myself. When I saw the new Maybelline Brow Satin I knew it was something that would tick all my boxes, something that would make life much easier when doing my brows on a morning. I got mine in the shade Dark Blond, I have naturally blonde hair but would say that my brows are pretty dark in comparison.With a crayon on one end a sponge applicator on the other end with a powder product which is applied to the sponge via the lid of the product. At first I was a little curious about how this would really work, if the pencil would be a little too precise for me or if the sponge applicator would create unnatural looking movements in the hair.

Never the less I popped into my basket and off I popped home, I bought it of course first. Don’t want any of you thinking I just walked out with it! The first thing I noticed about it when I got home, If you have read my review posts in the past you will know I am big on packaging. I like the sleek looking black packaging with white writing but what Im not a fan off is the picture description which is shown on it. For me put that on a  little label attached too it, I don’t want to have that on it all the time. I know they  are only trying to help, but I just don’t like it. When I first got to grips of using it I loved the small crayon end, it is so small that it creates natural looking hairs. It came to the time that I had to use the sponge and I was very spectacle, but once I used it I realised how good it was. Not only does it set the brows in place but it also fills them in making them look full and just gorgeous.

From the beginning of not being sure if I would really like this, I must say I have actually fallen in love with this quite a bit. There is something about it that just makes me happy. For someone like me who isn’t into there brows then it is perfect. I love how simple it is to apply and how amazing it look overall.
