Morning Skincare: Summer Edit

IMG_1915

Something I love to read is skincare posts, I am a newbie to all this skincare malarky but also something that I have grown to love. I have had few items that I got at the end of last year that I have now used up and I am on the look out for some newbies to add to my routine. This is something that I use for my skin to try and keep it right, just to let you know before I go any further with this is that I am no expert. I use things that I think work for me, I don’t know the ins and outs of everything that I use I just feel that for my skin type and issues that I have with my skin that these work. I am always up to trying new products so please do let me know in the comments of things that you think will suite my skin type. I have combination/oily skin my T zone tends to get pretty oily through-out the day, whilst the rest of my face I would say stays pretty normal. However I have been getting some drier skin on my forehead recently which I was a little lost with when it first started.
My routing is pretty simple compared to some beauty gurus and I tend to stick to things that I know a little bit about just so that if anyone asks me I know what I am doing, but being a newbie Im hoping that in the future I start to use things that may benefit my skin in different ways.

To start with one of the first things I do when I wake up on a morning is wash my face, I have been loving and to be honest I have been using this for around 4/5 months now the La Roche Posay Effacer Gel cleanser, I love how this makes me skin feel and I feel as though it really takes all the nasties out of my skin from when I have been asleep. I then apply some of this Simple Toner Water, if Im honest I don’t really know what this does to your skin but I have heard lots of people suggest you use one so of course I do. This is one of the things I am on the look out for, I want something a little bit more luxurious than this one. Any suggestions please do let me know! I then add my Hydraluron which I have found is really helping my dry skin, this adds moisture into the skin rather than it just sitting on top. This is one of my favourite steps, I can really feel a difference in my skin from using this and not. I now don’t go a day without applying this. Next step is moisturiser another that I want a new one of, I have been using this small sample of the Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser I haven’t been totally impressed by this but it will do until I find one that I really do love. The last step is my Garner Roll-on, this is for your eyes. I don’t know about you but when I wake up on a morning the one thing that looks tired is my eyes, I have found by applying this it helps to wake my eyes up. I have been on the look out for a good eye cream but am a little unsure of what to look for, this however does the trick for me for now.

What skincare essentials would you suggest?
