Make-up Haul

IMG_1055 IMG_1058Lately I feel as though all I’m doing is searching for things that I tell myself I need. When in actual fact it’s just a lust, a want, something inside me telling me that without this beauty product I couldn’t do day-to-day task. When in reality, lets face it, I don’t need anything from the beauty department to live. But come on girls you know what its like when you notice something new and shiny and all you want to do is get your paws on it.Thats how I feel with most of the Mac collections that get realised, with such a huge hype. I was browsing through the Debenhams website when I notice the Mac Toledo range and completely fell in love. I have to say it’s usually the packaging that gets me, lets face it that’s what sucked me in with this one. The gorgeous white packaging, I also have to add that its matte. Yes, you read that right! The packaging is matte, simply amazing. I couldn’t choose which one I wanted but settled on this gorgeous dark red shade, in the colour Opera which is also a matte finish. The cute lipstick case is covered in eyes, noses and months. I’ve heard some say how much they hate this packaging but for me its a win. The lipstick its self is gorgeous.I really want to try some of the other products from this range.

The next thing I picked up was the 217 brush, which I know I’m a little late in getting. But brushes are something that I don’t tend to buy often and when I find one I like I stick with it until I really do need to buy another one. This brush is amazing. If I’m honest I don’t know why I waited so long to get my hands on this one, but I must recommend annoys you in need of a good blending brush go out and buy yourself this one. It does everything you need it to do. From blending out your transition colour, to blending two colours together and of course applying a simple colour all over the lid. As soon as I get to another Mac stall I’ll be picking another one up! It’s a must for your make-up bag.

I’ve been filling up my own mac palette, every now and again I pick up a colour I like the look off. This time I picked up this gorgeous salty green colour which is called, Sumptous Olive. ITs an amazing dark grey/green colour with gold running through it. I paired this with a brown smoky eye for more of  a dramatic effect and it looked amazing. I can’t wait until this palette fills up and I can show you all which colours I have become obsessed with and which I would maybe not recommend.

Lastly, was the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. This was another one of those products where I have been meaning to try it for soso long. I decided to go for the travel size bottle rather than getting the bigger bottle just to make sure I like it. If I’m honest I wouldn’t recommend getting the little bottle unless it is for travel as this stuff is amazing. I spray it on once all my make-up is on, and I really feel as though it sets it all in place. I can go through the day without feeling like I need to top my make-up, or check that my mascara has smudged. It really does set your make-up in place and stops any of it from moving.

Have you tried any of these? What have you  been buying recently?
