Autumn Tones: Make-Up Edit

Just like a wardrobe change up I love to change my dressing table draw to suit the autumn tones we so need this time of year. Out come the super glowy highlighters and bronze golden tones. In come the burgondy, greens – are you getting all the autumn tones Im feeling.

The Lips

The first to make the move was the lipsticks which is a pretty easy one. My go to was the Too Faced Gingerbread liquid lipstick and Charlotte Tilbury Glastonberry. The Too Face Gingerbread lipsticks is no longer available but the Pumpkin Spice is super similar. I obvious keep some of the go to nudes in there like Mac Velvet Teddy (yes it is still a firm favourite in my life) and Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk. I find these lipsticks are gorgeous to suit the autumn tones I pick for my outfits.

The Eyes

For the eyes I am obsessed with this NYX Palette which has a gorgeous mix of brown tones, berry and a little hint of kahlki. You getting those Autumn tones now. This palette has everything you need for a full glam look or a more natural look where you just want to add a little something to define the eyes. I also love the 3INA Cream Eyeshdow in 313. This is a gorgeous gold colour which is perfect for a full super glam look. Although this probably isnt in your usual autumn tones list, I just love a good pop of gold.

The Base

When it comes to the base I like to get all those blemishes under control and this Autumn I need all the help to cover those under eye circles. The return to work after 6 months working from home has been hard! The Collection Lasting Perfection concealer will and has always been in my make-up draw. This little beauty isnt going anywhere! Ive begun to use this Becca palette which has a gorgeous mix of highlighter, bronzer and blusher and is the perfect shades for the autumn. The bronzer does have a little more of a shimmer in it but I really love the look it gives. I couldnt find the palette in the photos but I have found this one from Becca which is super similar. I find this palette suits the autumn tones that Ive been using amazingly!

You can find an old autumn make-up blog post here. Again you’ll find all the autumn tones, we definitly have a theme here.
