Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm

Many of you who love skincare, or for a matter a fact are anywhere in the world will have used or at least heard of the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm. I didnt jump on the bandwagon of this straight away purely because of the price! At a hefty £36 you cant really just buy this to try. I read and read different reviews until I finally thought Im going to give it ago. For the few of you who dont know, this is a cleansing balm, it takes off your make-up or just cleanses your skin.

The product itself comes as a balm, you rub this between your fingers adding a little bit of water and it turns into a creamy product. It smells amazing, fresh and makes you feel alive tbh. Once you rub it on your face you can feel it melting away all the impurities.

I use usually take my make-up off before I use this as I cant justify spending that much on something that removes my make-up, as a double cleanser anyway. I usually use a cheaper cleanser to remove my make-up then use this after. I have always double cleansed as I have spot prone skin. If I just cleanse once I dont feel as though it has took all the make-up off or taken any of the dirt left on my face off. So thats why I use a cheaper alternative first then I use this.

Once I am onto using this cleanser, I take a small amount in my hands and rub it together. Usually my hands are already wet so I dont bother adding water. I then rub it round my face, and concentrate on places like around my nose where I am prone to getting black heads. You can really feel the product working as it gets into the nucks and crannys. For those who dont know what I mean by that, its the small spaces you normally wouldnt get too. I use a damp warm face cloth to wipe away the product.

Overall, I really can see a difference when I have started using this product. My face seems a lot cleaner and a lot less prone to spots. I will 100% be repurchasing this once I have nearly ran out!

This looks like a lovely product! I use the Body Shop Cleansing Butter which looks like it works in a similar way and I absolutely love it! 🙂
