Sleek New In

 

I’ve always found there has been a few drugstore brands that I always gravitate towards. Sleek being pretty much top of the list and recently I have been using their products more and more after a little PR parcel landed before Christmas with a few of their foundations in. I have now been using that foundation non-stop. I was actually about to re-purchase the foundation when an email popped up to ask if I would like to try their new foundation.

It was as if they knew!

Amazing, yes. I would love to.

Fast forward two weeks and here we are again obsessed with another Sleek foundation. But you know whats even better than that they even sent me through some of the other foundation, my foundation draw is now stocked up!

The new foundation is the Vitality Fresh Foundation which has a semi-matte finish, is light- medium in its coverage and oil free. All three tick the boxes for me. It applies smoothly to the skin, especially when using a beauty blender. I found one application of the product wasn’t quiet enough for the coverage I like. You know, you could still see those pesky blemishes poking through. Another application got me covered. But if you like a light coverage one application would definitely be enough for you. The Lifeproof Foundation is the one I have been using for the past few months and this is a medium- full coverage foundation, it is also oil proof and sweat proof. I can clarify that this will keep you looking semi-matte all day, theres no melting around here when you’ve got this covering you up.  Both foundation leave you with flawless looking skin and both are up there with becoming my favourite foundation. Ive even had a few days with no concealer which is a big thing for me.

In the package there was also a face form palette in light, which is actually one of the first products that I used when I started contouring. I threw it out a few months ago because there is only so long you can keep a hold of memories that can definilty not be used on the skin anymore. But with this one back, I will be for sure using it a lot more. I even used it on my eyes, especially if I am travelling very light. The bronzer is a gorgeous shade to throw all over the eye, then use the highlighter to brighten the inner corners, dont you just love something that’s so versatile. They also included one of their bestsellers, the Highlighting palette in Solstice, I already owned the Cleo Pattra palette and loved it. Of course I was amazed by the Solstice palette, the shades are literally my perfect highlighting shade. The palette houses three powder highlighters and one cream which honestly look amazing mixed together and create the most amazing highlighter. You’ll be stopped to ask what you’ve got on! 

Im loving using more affordable brands at the moment, Im desperate to try a few more things from MUR, if you have any suggestions leave them below!
