There’s something about this foundation that I just can’t live without. Its a beauty and if you haven’t used it before your missing out. I believe I have reviewed this foundation before on my blog but recently I have been using it more and more. I thought it was about time that I out up another post, just to let you all know how amazing I really think it is. I should maybe introduce it to you know, although I know its the title of the post and probably one of the first things you noticed about this, its the Estee Lauder Double Wear. One of the first things I love about it is the packaging. I know its a pretty simple and plain packaging. But there is just something about it that really jumps out to me, its not too tacky, its pretty simple and elegant. I think thats why I love it. The gold lid is about as fancy as you can get with this foundation which really draws me in. Theres nothing worse than getting a plastic bottle when you’ve paid a lot for your product. If any of you are on the same page as me, you want something that looks nice in its packaging not just on you. Although lets face it thats got to be the main reason your buying it.
The foundation itself is very thick and high coverage. Its for those who want to cover up parts of their skin that they are maybe a little bit unsure about. This one isn’t for those who like to have a light coverage in their foundation, although it may be for those of you who like a light coverage but like to have something for special occasions when you want to wear something a little bit more fancy to make you feel extra gorgeous. The actual product itself is very thick and heavy, but it gives an amazing look to your overall make-up.
Is it weird to say that I also like the smell. I hate getting a foundation that smells chemically and horrid, but this one smells pretty good if I’m honest. The smell all round is pretty good, its not too much of a smell that it puts you off but its a good enough smell that it adds too the enjoyment off the foundation. Im crazy I know.
