I remember being little and being dragged around the shops, crying to my mam and dad because all I wanted to do was go home and play with my new toy. But then we would go into Monsoon and I was in my element. When your little everything seems to big, wandering beneath the shelves filled with home accessories and getting lost in the maze of clothing rails. Everything was so sparkly, I remember feeling like I was in Aladdin’s cave. Always looking for the next brightest jewel, or pleasing my mam to buy the most sequined covered dress. Then I got a little older and Monsoon seemed to disappear. Until I was asked if I would like to try out their new Rose Gold Perfume gift set. I was straight back onto the website and couldn’t believe how amazing it all looked. I even popped into my local Monsoon to have a little look around, of course it didn’t seem quite as sparkly and special as it did when I was only a dot but there was still something super magical about it.
This gift set is perfect for any mums, girlfriends or even your best friend. The bottle is shaped in a gorgeous tear drop which looks so elegant sat on your dressing table and is the perfect size to pop into your handbag if you ever needed a top up during the day. In the gift set you get a 50ml bottle for £29, which is a bargain when it comes to fragrances. You also get a 100ml body lotion in the gift set which is a perfect complimentary scent to the perfume and great to pop on before your annual works party. The scent of both products opens with juicy top notes of citrus, rich floral heart notes and decadent woods, which sets beautifully upon the skin. When I first sprayed this, both my mam and Alex asked me what I was wearing and if it was new. Which to me means they loved it! They don’t always notice when I am wearing a new scent. The scent lasted a good amount of time, although I would say that you would probably need a top up during the day if you like the scent to last a full day. I’ve already got this written down on my to buy list for one of my relatives and it should definitely be on yours!

8 years agoThis sounds so lovely! Definitely the type of fragrance I’d tend to buy. Would never of thought of looking in Monsoon for fragrance – I’ll have to give it a spritz when I’m next visiting 🙂 xo
