boutique-lipstick-review

When I received an email off the lovely girls at Boutique beauty I had to read the email a few times to finally realise that yes it was a Sainsburys beauty range. Its something that I have never really thought off, a supermarket having their own beauty range so of course I jumped to the chance of trying a few of their lip products. I was sent three of their lipsticks and two of the lip liners. I have to say a few of them I have been wearing non stop!

The lip liners I got are in the shades Seal One’s Fate and Chinese Whispers, which personally I think are super fun names. I love the fun element given to the liners, I don’t know about you but there is nothing worse than loving a make-up product that is only given a code as its name! I am so much more likely to remember the make and name of the product to tell other people about it if I know the name of the product. Seal One’s Fate is a gorgeous brown nude shade which suit my skin tone amazing and is one of the products that I have been using non stop for my everyday look. This liner is super creamy and kept my lipstick looking flawless all day. Chinese Whispers is more of a pale pink nude shade which looks amazing paired with a pale pink lipstick. I havent worn this as much but I’m sure ill get lots of wear out of this one too.

As for the lipsticks I got the shades In The Buff, Out And A Pout and Roses In The Desert, again the names just make me smile. My personal fave is In The Buff it’s a real everyday kinda colour for me, its a little lighter than Seal One’s Fate but honestly they look amazing paired together. The lipsticks are super creamy and have a glossy kinda finish, which I was a little worried meant the lipstick wasnt going to last but I was presently surprised to find it stayed put for a good couple of hours before needing reapplying. Rose In The Desert has a red undertone to a brown lip shade, which is going to look amazing in the autumn. Is this really the first time I have mentioned autumn! We are a week away and I am just too excited. Out and A Pout is the brightest in all the products I received with its super bright pink look. I think this will look beautiful in the Spring paired with a simple make-up look. I 100% recommend these to anyone, you can find some of their products here.
