Lifestyle // Make Happiness Happen


We strive to enjoy our life every single day,  but sometimes that just doesn’t go to plan. Things get in they way and bring us down past the line. You may be wondering what ‘The Line’ is, for me I see it as a line. When you are on top of the world one minute then BANG something hits you and your mood, your feelings everything falls to rock bottom. No matter how hard you try to get out of that state of mind you can’t shift because of the line that’s stuck above you. Once you are below it, it takes the whole lot of thought and shift in your feelings until you can finally rise above it again. Even though that bang that made you fall under it, took two seconds to bring your mind down to it. Because I went through a phase of being totally stuck under the line, I gave myself 3 things to follow to bring my happiness back up. To get back on my feet and concurring the world again.

  1. Surround yourself with happiness.This could mean being round people who make you feel good, people who will help lift your mood without you really having to do anything. Or this could mean being in a place that makes you feel happy, this may take away all of the negative thoughts and bring you back up to where you should be. Or it could mean putting yourself into a position where you feel safe, you’re doing something that you love and nobody/anything can bring you down any further than you already are.
  2. Relax.There are times when you put yourself under the line by putting too much on your plate. At this point you need to tell yourself to relax. Stop what you are doing, and take some times out for you. It could be all day, it could be for 10 minutes. Whatever the circumstances are when you feel you need to take that time out, do it. This could be time spent reading a book, maybe you enjoy meditation. Whatever it is, it really doesn’t matter. As long as you feel like when you have finished you can think about the most important things you need to achieve first.
  3. Love Yourself. This is probably the hardest one out of all three. And Id love to do a full blog post on it in the future. But you need to love you. If you don’t love you, how can anyone else? You may find it difficult, as society now-a-days tend to focus on the negative of everyone. But this is the point when only you can help yourself. You need to face up to those demons that are pushing you below the line and get yourself back up. If you feel like you need to change something about you, then do it! obviously we all know those things aren’t going to change over night but the progression of changing those things will eventually get you above the line for good. Stop pulling yourself a part and figure out what is bring you down, take those things away and you can live your life how you should be.
