Drugstore Haul 3

It feels like a life time since I last got to do a haul on CharlotteSamantha. This is still not a crazy big one but I still thought I’d show you the bits and bobs I picked up while on the hunt for some new goodies the other day. There is something so satisfying about getting new make-up and moving around your storage to make the new bits looks super pretty. Or is that just me?I said at the start of the year that I wanted to use more of what I had before buying new things, so don’t worry I havent jus gone out and bought random, although I could have looking at all the amazing things in the drugstore. I picked up bits that I’d either ran out of or am running out of so needed something in just in case.

The first thing I wanted to pick up was a new foundation, this was probably the hardest thing for me to choose. Ia m picky when it comes to foundation because I like something super full coverage but I don’t like anything to thick and cakey. I decided to go for the new Loreal Infallible Scuplt foundation. I was shocked to see they only have two shades of this out at the moment so I picked it up in the shade Light. I have only swatched this at the moment and the colour looks good. But I do hope they get more shades in if I fall in love with this foundation. Pssst there will be a review soon. I also decided to pick up the Loreal Infallible Sculpt Contour palette in light/medium. When I got him and swatched this I was surprised to find out it is a cream as I was pretty sure it was going to be a powder. Nevertheless I am excited to get some of this on and try it out. The last Loreal product I got was the Infallible Fixing Mist, I have heard so much about this that I thought I had to try it. Some people have said that if you don’t shake the bottle it leaves white marks on your face, but others have said this stuff is amazing. I found it strange that there is balls in the bottom of the setting spray, but lets just hope this keeps my make-up in place all day. I then picked up one of my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade 02, I had both this and the lightest in my hand but remembered I have a lot of lighter concealers on the go at the minute so thought it would be wise until I didn’t have much left. The last thing I picked up was a Soap and Glory Brow Archery in the shade Blonde Ambition. This has a crayon on one side and the other is a spooley with a gel finishing coat. I havent tried this out yet so I can’t comment on how it goes on but I am super excited to try it.

  • I really want to try the Fixing Mist, could be a great dupe for Fix + or UD’s setting spray. The Brow Archery also looks very interesting and different from other brow products out there!

The Fixing Mist needs a really good shake before using it but it is amazing! The L’Oreal contour palettes look amazing, need to get my hands on them!

Love the look of the fixing spray as my Urban Decay setting spray habit is becoming expensive! Will be interested to also hear your thoughts on the contour palette, as being so pale I’ve been hesitant to try one! X

The Infallible Sculpt & Contour powder looks really good. The only reason I haven’t picked it up myself is that I already have so many &, like you, am trying to use things I already have. I’ll definitely be checking out the ingredients of the setting spray when my Urban Decay spray runs out. I love it, but it’s rather expensive fro my current budget. I’m a huge fan of the Soap & Glory Brow Archery, I have the original, but would like to try some of the newer shades. Xx
