BOOK CLUB SUNDAYS

As a keen reader I thought I would let you all into the books I have read and loved and maybe even into the ones that I have hated! I have a kindle but sometimes like to grab a book to read rather than constantly staring at a screen. The book that I was totally fascinated last year and have made every single person read that I have come into contact with, is Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. If your into love storys but also like a bit of detective/thriller then this is 100% for you! I’m not going to ruin this as I want you to go now and buy it! Each chapter is voiced by either the women or the man and the end of each chapter leaves you wanting to read more! Only a short one today guys as I really don’t want to ruin it…

GETTING READY FOR THE SUMMER #2

As the Summer is looming nearer, I thought I would write my second blog post in my Summer Series about getting your body ready. As well as getting your body into shape you need to get your skin ready for the sun and if not for the sun use some of these products to pretend that you have seen some sun this summer! These products are all basics that I think should be used on a daily basis to get yourself ready. The first thing I like to do when I get in the bath and know that summer is round the corner is shave.  Although I do this on a regular basis anyway it is most important in the summer when you may just have your legs out. Once I have done this I like to exfoliate my whole body and face. At the moment I am using the…

BEAUTY SAVIOURS

Although the title states this is a beauty saviours post, I am lying slightly to you. Yes, it is about beauty but it is focusing on things that I literally couldn’t live without when it comes to cosmetics. These are all products that I use on a regular basis and I wouldn’t know what to do if someone said you can only pick one! First is Ear Buds, its not what your thinking! Although these are very handy at cleaning your ears, yuk I hear you say. It isn’t the reason I have added them to this blog post today. I don’t know about you but every morning when I am doing my make something, no matter what, goes wrong. I find that this are so small that they can get any little smudges away and it looks good as new. One of the things that I am constantly using…

GETTING READY FOR THE SUMMER #1

The first post of my Summer Series had to be something  that I have been loving lately, and that is painting my nails bright colours. As soon as I see flowers, hear the word spring and maybe even see a tiny bit of sun I hurry to the shops and pick up some of the brightest (as bright as I would dare wear) nail varnishes. Today I thought it would be a nice idea to show you the 8 nail polishes that have been my go-to over the last few weeks. The first 4 that I have been loving are these here: Starting from left to right, I have a Maybelline Color Show in the colour Corals Up, I love using coral colours in the spring/summer. This Maybelling nail varnish looks good with two coats and I have found it lasts around a week before starting to chip. Another positive…

EASTER

Happy late Easter to you all! I wanted to write a Easter blog post but wanted to wait until after the weekend to publish it so I can show you some of the fun stuff we got up to. This Easter all my family went to my mam and dad’s caravan for the weekend, which was really nice as we where able to spend time together, that doesn’t happen often believe me. On Good Friday me and my mam decided to make some snacks that we could take to the caravan with us. We made lots of different cupcakes, including coffee, lemon, sponge, chocolate etc! I really enjoyed this, well I enjoyed eating the cake mix more than anything if im honest! We then made millionaire shortbread which was delicious. On Easter Sunday we decided to take the dogs for a walk and then hang around the caravan and talk etc. Unfortunately…
