Autumn Make-Up Bag

My make-up bag changes a hella-a-lot when it comes to this time of year. I’m no longer looking for the bronzed glow and embrace my inner ghost. The finish of my foundation tends to change along with the shades and the general look I’m going for. Lets be honest my look never seems to change but I like to think that I look like these super beaut girls on pinterest. You with me?

The base

Recently I have been using the Maybelline Dream Velvet Finish foundation, in the bid to find a super matte finish, my oily T zone seems to have a mind of its own at the moment, that being super oily. I would say I do enjoy using this foundation, however I have found that it seems to blot off pretty easy after a few hours of wear. The only way I can describe it is going super patchy. If you have any suggestions hit your girl up.

To add a little more shape to my ghostly face I have been loving my Hoola Bronzer by Benefit. This stuff has always been a love of mine but I seem to go back and forth with it. I will love it for weeks and then change things up a little. This allows me to shape my face up without having too much shimmery bronzer everywhere. To add a little blush to my cheeks I have been again loving an oldie, the Nars Orgasm blusher. Anyone else remember the huge hype around this little beauty. To be honest this wasnt intentional but we also have a throwback with the highlighter. Ive been using the Mac Soft & Gentle highlighter, anyone else feeling like a total throwback?

The Eyes

This is where it gets really Autumunal. I picked this eye shadow palette up when I was in London a few years back but for any of my northan girls, we have an Inglot opening in Newcastle so soon. You’ll find me in there if you ever do want to say hello. I will leave a link here with all shades etc for this palette because I cant really remember each and everyone. For eyeliner we are sticking to the same one I have been using for the past few months which is the Rimmel exaggerate liquid liner, this stuff stays put and is so easy to apply.

The brows are very much the same too, the Benefit Ka-Brow, I got this last Christmas and I’m only just starting to see the bottom. Amazing value for money and it works an absolute treat.

I love my Mac Soft & Gentle highlighter for this time of year, it just adds that little bit more life when my skin looks a little dull with no tan! That inglot eyeshadow palette is so dreamy and autumnal! xx

oh man, I remember when everyone and their moms were talking about orgasm! I think it’s so iconic partly because of the name too, before I think they were the only brand with shade names like orgasm and deep throat, haha. you’re right, inglot names are so hard to remember cause they’re all numbers – I’d love if they had actual names!
