Review: Shiseido Eye Trio

IMG_2186 IMG_2191

If you read last weeks post all about the Shiseido products I won on a Twitter competition you will know how much I loved the eye cream, here. The other product that I won was the Luminizing Satin Eye Colour Trio. This is an amazing little everyday palette great for the summer, with three amazing colours. I love it when you find a little compact palette that is great for travelling where all colours in the palette are worth using. For me the best thing about palettes are if you are heading somewhere during the day but are going straight to an evening occasion you can easily slip it into your bag and touch up to change your look completely. Its great! As I had said in my last post I had never tried anything from Shiseido before, but now I have tried it I will defiantly be heading over to there counter next time I’m in  a make-up hall. Of course I have to know I have a bit of money to spend as their products are a little more on the pricey side with it being a high end brand.

The palette that I was sent is in the shade RD299, one thing that I don’t like about the product is the name. Its not something that I would remember, I like to have actual names for products that way if people ask what I am wearing then I can tell them the name, firstly I am more likely to remember it and the person that asks me is more likely to remember it too. But anyway, enough of that rant. Apart from the name the product is amazing. In this trio it has a light creamy tone, a golden shimmery tone and then a darker cool toned brown. As I was saying earlier if you where going out during the day and just wanted a minimal look, you could use the two lighter shades. To turn it into a more glamorous look you could add the darker brown shade. I love it! The pigmentation of these eye shadows is super good. They stay on the eyes all day without falling off or smudging, another thing I noticed when applying these shadows that there was next to no fall out. Which I am all about. Theres nothing worse than applying an eyeshadow that ends up half way down your face. Then you’ve got to re go over all of you make-up again, its my pet hate! The price of this trio is a little more than what you would pay for a drugstore product, but its maybe one that you would keep for special occasions if you didn’t have that much in your budget for an everyday look. This is £36, which I bet a lot of you are thinking this is not worth the money but head over to your local counter and try out just how creamy these shadows are. Have you tried any Shiseido products, what did you think?
