REVIEW: Lypsyl*

lypsyl review Lypsyl review lypsylWith the cold, windy weather finally setting in it seems only right to be getting out all the bare essentials. (A post coming soon of course) This includes jumpers, woolly blankets, hot chocolates and the rest. Something a lot of us seem to forget about protecting is our lips. I don’t know about you but I always end up with really dry chapped lips. Then I go to put on my favorite Autumn shade on my lips and it looks as though someone has taken a knife to my lips. Not a good look. There are a number of ways that we can keep them looking kissable. Did I really just say that? I apologise. But in all seriousness there is nothing worse than having the best make-up day ever and then your lipstick looks horrendous. That’s when Lypsyl steps in to lend a helping hand. When I was younger I use to use this all the time, at the time they only had the original one out that has a peculiar smell, very perfumey but something soothing too it. That may just be due to the time that I used it which makes me think of being young, oh how I wish I could go back to the days of not having to worry about how I would pay next months bills. But Lypsyl have now come up with two new scents Strawberry and Cherry. I’m the type of girl who likes to be able to put something on my lips and almost want to eat it because it smells so good. You all know how much of a foodie I am. This stuff ticks all the boxes. The other amazing thing about these two scents is that they are slightly tinted, Cherry being that little bit darker than Strawberry but still put an amazing bit of colour into the lips. The little bit of colour means you can take this with you out and about and if your lip colour wears off you can still add a little bit of colour without having to stop and reapply the liner etc. Or you can carry the Original around with you and apply this as a base. Keeping your lips hydrated and your lipstick looking gorgeous.
