March Favourites

Can you actually believe how fast this year is going, I know you probably think we say this every year but I actually feel like it should only be february. Not April!! New York is slowing creeping upon me and I am yet to get that savings account to an amount where I can get all the goodies on my wish list. If you have any favourites that you think I need to get from New York, leave the down below!! Anyway, back on to the March Favourites, I have to a admit there will be a lot in my April favourites because over the past week I have found so many new loves that I can’t contain my excitement, but I though it’s a little too hasty to put them in m March favourites since I’ve only had them a week.

March Favourites 2

Lately I have been loving using oils on my face, something about them just help me skin so much. I have been reaching for the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate pretty much every night for march. I literally put two drops on my fingers drops and dab it run my face. I founds that any scaring I have from spots looses its redness straight away and the scars don’t last as long. I love the applicator, and isn’t the packaging just dreamy. I cant wait to play with some new face oils that have just come in!! Another skin care saviour for me this month has been my trusty sudocrem, I think the amount of chocolate I have allowed myself to eat has meant that my face has been acting up big time. I mean I’ve had volcanos around my face that where just not pretty, but my little sudocrem pot pushes them down over night. This stuff is a staple, if you don’t have it in your skin care bag then go out and get it, as soon as you’ve finished reading this post obviously.

If you have been reading CharlotteSamantha this past month you will know how obsessed I have been with the Maybelline The Blushed Nudes palette you can find out what I think about it here and here. I literally love this palette more than anything at the moment, the shades are so versatile and I find I can wear it with any outfit and the shades go on amazingly. There has been a few days where I have been in such a rush to get ready, the clocks going forward and everything means my body isn’t quit use to the getting up early malarkey. Or is that just my excuse. Anyway, yes I have found I can literally throw these shades on blend them out, of course blending is key and they look amazing. I have also been loving the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink, these blushes are beautiful, if you havent tried any of them yet then yet yourself to boots and pop a few in your collection.  They are a full on dupe of the hour-glass blushes but with a much more friendly price tag. The colour in particular is perfect for Spring for me. I have also been reaching for the Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama mascara every day, at first I was a little dubious and thought it clumped a little on my lashes but after a couple of uses this seems to be working a treat for me. Lengthening and thickening at the same time. The last beauty item I have is the Mac pigment in Whisper Pink, I have been using this as my highlight in my inner corner or as a main shade over the full lid. This pigment is absolute perfection. Its shimmery, but at the same time can be used in an everyday look.

Now for the few things that are a little random and just not pretty enough to photograph. The first has to be coffee, any type of coffee. I havent been sleeping great the past few weeks so coffee is my best friend, I mean it my very best friend. Instead of my usual cup of tea when I wake up I have brewing myself a lovely, creamy coffee. AMAZING. Another is Game of Thrones, I know I am totally late on the band wagon, I get it. But myself and Alex have just finished watching The Walking Dead, so we had to start something else, we are now onto season 2 and I have to say I think it is one of the best programs I have ever watched. I didn’t think it was going to be my kind of thing and I thought it was going to be really hard watching but it is so easy to follow and just sooo good. The gym is my last favourite, at the start of the year I was really into going to the gym, then I caught that awful sickness/cold bug that was traveling the country and ended up losing touch with the gym. Then Alex has assessment after assessment which meant I lost my gym buddy. But we are finally back into it, and I am loving it more than ever. I have finally plucked up the courage to go into the scary man bit, by that I mean the free weights. There are just so many crazy big men in there that I was petrified. But I did it and now I can go in whenever without feeling tiny.
